Brahime Chadid

Brahime Chadid (born in 1987 in Dahra 2 near Béni Mellal) is a Moroccan visual artist who works under the name “SinJiE”.

He began drawing at the age of nine and participated in school art competitions. Over time, the realities he experienced and witnessed around him transformed art into an essential part of his life. Drawing became a refuge and, in particular, a means of expression through which he could communicate beyond the difficulties he experienced with speech.

He has participated in several art exhibitions and artistic gatherings, developing a distinctive style centred on lines and human forms. Through his work, he explores reality, emotions and ideas, translating experiences that are not always easily expressed through words.

He works on professional Canson paper, using a variety of tools, including fine drawing pens and makeup, which he sometimes incorporates into his creative process to explore different textures, lines and visual effects.
